Mary Jane Myers

Mary Jane (Welsh) Myers, 74, of Leola, passed away January 3, 2016 at her home.

She was born in New Holland on July 18, 1941 to the late Rupert “Jim” L. and F. Edith (Ream) Welsh.

Mary Jane was a professional seamstress for over 40 years. In her spare time she enjoyed attending country music concerts, taking cruises, and bowling.

Surviving is a daughter, Sandra J. Miranda-Cuellar, companion of Tyrone Williams, of Mount Wolf; 5 grandchildren: R. Matthew Reifsnyder of Columbia, Travis R. Reifsnyder, husband of Jessica, of Lebanon, Heidi J. Miller, wife of James, of Mount Wolf, J. Patrick Miranda-Cuellar of Mount Wolf, and E. Enmanuel Miranda-Leon, companion of Francis Enamorado, of South Carolina; 8 siblings: James Welsh, Charles Welsh, husband of Barb, Janet Shumate, wife of Bill, Patsy Reifsnyder, wife of Marty, Evelyn Houck, Donald Welsh, husband of Janet, John, husband of Sandy, and Joyce Miller, wife of Rick; a sister-in-law-Faye Welsh; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Raymond Welsh, and a sister Thelma Jean Welsh.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 E. Main St, New Holland, PA 17557 with Joel Latshaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal shelter in Mary Jane’s honor. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
