A. Faye Hillegass

A. Faye Hillegass, 83, of 134 W. Main St., Terre Hill, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 14 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Surviving is her husband of 60 years, James N. Hillegass. Born in Terre Hill, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Lottie (Townsley) Hahn. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity E. C. Church. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and attending auctions, was an avid reader, and was known for her PA Dutch cooking, especially her sugar cakes. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: James M. married to Barbara Hillegass, Harrisburg; Kristi married to Paul Wallace, New Holland; Melinda F. married to Donald L. Craumer, Hanover; two grandsons: Mark and Ben; two step-grandchildren: Beth and Mike; a step great granddaughter, Zoe; and a sister, Edna Gambino, Lancaster. She was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters. Her funeral will be held of Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10 AM at Trinity E. C. Church with Pastor Al Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Terre Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 – 10 AM. Kindly omit flowers. If desired, memorials in her memory may be sent to Trinity E. C.
