A. Stanley Burkhart

A. Stanley Burkhart, 84, formerly of Denver, died Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Berks Heim. His wife, Barbara A. (Balthaser) Burkhart survives.

Born in Union Grove, Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Christian G. and Mabel E. (Zimmerman) Burkhart.

Stanley was a self-employed excavator for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and collecting various types of items.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children: Kenneth married to Patricia Burkhart, Denver and Susan A. Burkhart, Portal, AZ, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three siblings: Nancy Noll, Denver, Paul E. Burkhart, Denver and June E. married to Neal Leid, Denver.

He was preceded in death by a sister Anne Lied.
