Ada I. Fisher

Ada I. Fisher, 98, of Honey Brook, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2016 at Tel Hai Retirement Community.

Born in Honey Brook, Ada was a daughter of the late John M. and Rachel (Smoker) Fisher.

Ada worked as a sewing machine operator at Guymar of Honey Brook and Blue Ball Manufacturing of Blue Ball. She was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church, Morgantown, where she attended the Ladies’ Sewing Circle. She also volunteered at Tel Hai Retirement Community for many years.

Ada is survived by a sister, Anna Beiler, at Tel Hai of Honey Brook, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings: Elsie Fisher, Sadie Stoltzfus, Susan Kurtz, John Fisher, and Amos Fisher.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Tel Hai Retirement Community, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook PA 19344 with David Hicks officiating. Interment will be at Conestoga Mennonite Cemetery, 2779 Main St, Morgantown, PA 19543. Viewing will be held from on Sunday from 1-2 PM at the Tel Hai Chapel.
