Albert L. Fisher

Albert L. Fisher, 88, of Ephrata, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital

Born in E. Nantmeal Twp., Chester Co., he was the son of the late Gideon K. and Anna Z. (Weaver) Fisher.

He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata and enjoyed playing BINGO and walking. When he was younger, he frequently rode his bicycle.

Surviving is a sister Hannah E. Martin, Ephrata, 20 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elwood G. and Eli W. Fisher and a sister Estella M. Stauffer.

His funeral will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mohler Church of the Brethren, 21 E. Mohler Church Rd., Ephrata with John Fry officiating. Interment will be in Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
