Jane Jackson

Jane (Bircher) Jackson, 84, of Ephrata, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her family by her side on April 29, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice (Ogram) Bircher.

She was the wife of Paul R. Jackson, with whom she almost shared 65 years of marriage.

She was one of eight students in the first graduating class for Delaware County Christian School. Jane and Paul were one of the founding couples of Brick Lane Church and she was a longtime member of Christian Fellowship Church. She loved teaching in women’s bible studies and Sunday school classes. She was a very faithful prayer warrior. She had a knack for cooking and handiwork.

Jane is survived by her husband, Paul, her children, Kimberly wife of Tim Vesey of Willow Street, Wendy wife of Bill Fulbright of Elverson, Doug husband of Natalie Jackson of Minneapolis, MN and Glenn husband of Kristen Jackson of Reading. She was the proud grandma of 11 grandchildren and proud great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, George, Charles “Bud” and Mary.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Street, New Holland PA 17557. A Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will be private in the adjoining church cemetery.
