Alice M. Ringler

Alice (Martin) Ringler, 61, of East Earl, PA, passed away peacefully at Ephrata Community Hospital on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Alice was born in Narvon, PA to her late parents, John H. and Vera B. (Martin) Martin. She was the wife of Glen O. Ringler, who survives at home.

Alice was a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conferences and a homemaker. In addition to being a homemaker, Alice found great joy in gardening and flowers. She was known for her very generous and giving heart.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Michael husband of Elizabeth (Weaver), East Earl, Jason husband of Emily (Newswanger), East Earl, Nathan husband of BethAnn (Zimmerman) East Earl, Donna wife of Jason Zimmerman, Narvon, Lisa wife of Paul Martin, Denver, Loretta wife of Roy Zimmerman, Aberdeen, OH, Matthew husband of Lucinda (Shirk), Narvon and Andrew husband of Erla (Horst), East Earl.

In addition, she is survived by 25 grandchildren and her siblings: Edna wife of Weaver Burkholder, Turbotville, David Martin husband of Vera (Zimmerman), Dunmore, WV, Mary wife of Lewis Horst, East Earl and John Martin of PA.

She was preceded in death by a sister Erma, wife of Martin Zeiset, Thorp, WI and two infant grandchildren, Rose Ringler and Treston Ringler.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Bowmansville Mennonite Church with Bishop Leon Zimmerman, Edwin Leinbach, Issac Brubaker and Harold Zimmerman officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at the home of Andrew Ringler, 279 E. Black Creek Rd., East Earl on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill, is in charge of arrangements.
