Alice N. Sauder

Alice N. Sauder, 84, formerly of East Earl, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at Fairmount Homes.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Erbie and Alice (Sensenig) Sauder.

Alice was a seamstress for 37 years at the former SLC Fashions, Blue Ball and then for 5 years at the former Loungewear Mfg., Hinkletown.

She was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church.

Surviving is her son, Larry R. married to Susan Sauder; three granddaughters: Rebecca Jankowiak (Scott), Rachel Hodges (Kevin), and Emily Wood (Chris); three great-grandchildren: Allison, Andrew, Annabelle and four siblings: Arthur R., Irene Martin, Lester, Anna Wenger.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Raymond E. and Melvin and a sister Esther Rutt.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Weaverland Mennonite Church with Pastor Steve Sauder and Pastor Leon Hurst officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:30 – 11 a.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
