Allen J. Peck

Allen J. Peck, 93, of 376A East Main St., New Holland, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Denver Nursing Home. Born in Uwchlan Twp., PA he was the son of the late Jehu B. and Julia (Hanley) Peck. His wife, Evelyn (Roberts) Peck, died Nov. 1999. Allen was a farmer most of his life in Downingtown retiring in 1988 in Sunbury. He was a member at Berean Bible Fellowship in Terre Hill where he was active in Bible Studies. He also enjoyed vegetable gardening and traveling throughout the US. Surviving is a son, Allen “Jay”, married to Linda (Morgan) Peck of Havertown; two grandchildren, Coleen, married to Eric Davenport of New Holland, and Kevin, married to Jennie Peck of Havertown; and two great grandsons, David and Jonathan Davenport. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 23 from 10-11 am at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with a graveside service following at the Fairview Presbyterian Cemetery in Glenmoore with the Reverend Kevin Kirkpatrick and the Reverend Charles Cole officiating.
