Amelia L. Mcginnes

Amelia L. McGinnes, 90, of Myerstown, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the StoneRidge Poplar Run Retirement Living Community, Myerstown. She was the loving wife of Richard P. Schoch, whom preceded her in death in 1982.

Born in York, she was the only child of Anthony A. and Dorothy (LaTour) Reck.

Amelia was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, West Reading. She worked as an executive secretary for Sperry New Holland for over 17 years. Amelia was a huge Penn State fan who In her spare time enjoyed playing bridge, taking cooking classes, traveling (especially to Stone Harbor), and big band dancing.

Amelia is survived by 3 children: Anthony Schoch, husband of Sandra, of Wernersville, Susan Johnson, wife of Craig, of Shillington, and Mary Berkheimer, wife of Jere, of Rothsville; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son Francis Schoch.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland PA 17557. Viewing will be held Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
