Amos Ray Arment, 82, of East Earl, passed away on September 14, 2025 at Ephrata Hospital.
Born in East Earl Township, he was the son of the late Ralph and Esther Mae (Newswanger) Arment.
He was the husband of Sally A. (Sensenig) Arment, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
He was a member of Mount Culmen Evangelical Congregational Church for 45 years and had worked for the former Sperry New Holland for 33 years. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls, camping and spending winters in Florida with the camper, bowling and spending time with his family.
Amos is survived by his wife, Sally, his children, Amos Ray Arment Jr., Sheryl L. Heffley wife of Steven, Jeffrey T. Arment husband of Amy (LeFevre), Michelle L. Gockley wife of Lamar and Troy A. Arment husband of Amy (Wanner), grandchildren, Spencer, Sheldon, Jamison husband of Alyssa, Courtney, Aaron husband of Emily, Maranda wife of Adam, Hannah wife of Alex, Danae, Luke, Lydia, Justin and Sarah, step grandchildren, Tristan, Abbie and Nathan and great grandchildren, Jackson and Elliot. Also surviving are his siblings, Lovina wife of Dave, Jay husband of Brenda and Janet.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Trevor and brother, Leon Arment.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mount Culmen Evangelical Congregational Church. A Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. A private interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery.
Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
