Angel Delgado

Angel Delgado, 79, of Terre Hill, PA, died December 10, 2012 at Hospice & Community Care of Lancaster. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Johnson) Delgado with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

He was born in Barrangquitas, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Francisco Delgado, Sr. and Mercedes Figueroa.

Angel retired in 1995 after working for Victor F. Weaver and Tyson Foods for 43 years as a group leader.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, William, married to Tina Delgado of Reading, Angelo “Tony” married to Lisa Delgado of Brownstown and Kevin Campbell of TX; six daughters, Alicia Gamber of Oley, Pamela married to Steve Bowers of Oley,

Deborah married to Robert Evans of Reading, Loyda married to Kevin Brendle of Narvon, Angela Campbell, and Danielle married to Julio Montemayor, both of TX; 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; three sisters Vicenta Delgado, Isaura Delgado both of Aibonito Puerto Rico, Josefa Delgado of Newark, NJ, and a brother Francisco Delgado, Jr. married to Arlene of East Earl.

Preceding him in death are two brothers Fermin Delgado, Jose Delgado and a grandson James Clark.

Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, with Pastor Ray Voran officiating. Interment will be in the Terre Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. Condolences may be submitted to our website at www.groffeckenroth.com
