Anita J. Osborne

Anita J. (Jeanie) Osborne, 56, of New Holland, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care. Her husband, Marlin T. Osborne, Jr. preceded her in death in 2008.

Born in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Susanne (Armstrong) Hackenburg, Lewistown and the late Edward Hackenburg.

Anita was a 1976 graduated from the former Kishacoquillas High School. And had been a former Area Manager for Maidenform. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving friend. She enjoyed automobiles, movies, cats and the Yankees.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Justin married to Kathryn Osborne, Morris Plains, NJ; a brother Doug Hackenburg, New Holland, five nieces, a great niece and a great nephew.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at New Holland United Methodist Church, 120 W. Main St., New Holland with Pastor Brad Haws officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Milroy. Kindly omit flowers.
