Anna Bakker, 92, formerly of Yellow Hill Road, Narvon, PA, died Wed., February 29, 2012, at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband Frans Bakker. Born in den Bommel, The Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Willem and Maartje (DeGroot) Jongeling. Anna was a member of Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church, East Earl. She had been a bank teller for the former Blue Ball Natl. Bank at the Terre Hill and Blue Ball offices. She also worked at Lake-In-Wood Campground. She is survived by her sons, Klaas, married to Judy Bakker of Narvon, and Willem Frans, married to Arlene Bakker of Eureka, MO, her daughter, Irene, married to John Towey, of Manchester, NJ, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a sister Willy Bakker. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Danielle Canales and two brothers. Arendt Jongeling and Simon Jongeling. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA, with Chaplain Chester Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Monday from 1 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Garden Spot Village Benevolent Fund, address above.
