Anna M. Hoover

Anna M. (Good) Hoover, 89, of East Earl, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy. She was the loving wife of Earl W. Hoover, with whom she shared over 67 years of marriage.

Born in Fivepointville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Ivy (Bender) Good.

Anna was a member of Goodville Mennonite Church. She was also a homemaker and daycare provider. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, puzzle books, gardening, and cooking for her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters: Brenda Andes of New Holland and Diane Hoover of East Earl; a sister, Beatrice Brubaker of New Holland; a brother, Earl B. Good, husband of Emma, of Terre Hill; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers: Joseph, Lester, Howard, Marvin, Harry, Warren, Lewis, and Wilmer Good; and two sisters, Grace Horning and Sarah Jane “Jennie” Weaver.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2 PM at Goodville Mennonite Church, 1556 Main St, Goodville, PA 17528 with Bruce Sauder and Kelly Martin officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. Visitation will occur on Wednesday at the church at 1 PM.
