Anna Joyce Martin

Anna Joyce Martin, 66, of 576 Red Run Rd., East Earl, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Fairmount Home. Her husband of 44 years, Wilmer Z. Martin, survives.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Verna (Weaver) Horning.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by eight siblings: Lorraine married to Bennet Charlton, Dalton, OH; Erma married to Leon Frey, Leola; Leonard married to Elaine Horning, Denver; Alma married to Nelson Martin, Mt. Joy; Thelma married to Weaver Nolt, Mohnton; Ruth Ann married to Roy Martin, New Holland; Nevin married to Elaine Horning, Denver; and Kenneth married to Karen Horning, Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wilmer Horning.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Martindale Reception Center with further services at 10 a.m. at Martindale Mennonite Church with Bishop Amos G. Martin, Ivan B. Hurst, Clair Hurst, and Paul Hurst, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held at Fairmount Homes Wheat Ridge Chapel on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements.
