Anna Mary (Weaver) Fox, 96, passed away on November 20, 2023 as a resident of Lincoln Christian Home in Ephrata.
Born in Farmersville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel O. and Mary E. (Zimmerman) Weaver.
She was the loving wife of the late Floyd E. Fox, whom she married on November 6, 1947. They shared 66 years of marriage until the time of his passing on January 1, 2014.
Anna Mary was a long-time member of Hinkletown Mennonite Church. She was a loving mother and wonderful homemaker. In addition to caring for her family, Anna Mary also worked for many years in a variety of jobs, but best enjoyed her later years of cleaning homes while developing friendships with the people she worked for.
Anna Mary and Floyd volunteered Chaplain services together for 15 years and also visited shut-in church members, which Anna Mary continued to do after her husband’s passing. In addition to being known for her cheerful and outgoing personality, Anna Mary was best known for showing her love through the sharing of her homemade bread and baked pies for many family, friends and neighbors.
Anna Mary is survived by her children; Alta F. wife of Robert Landis, James W. husband of Jody Fox, Earl W. husband of Ruth Fox, Arlene F. wife of the late James Rudy, Floyd E. Jr. husband of Pamela Fox, Linda F. wife of Q. Leon Zwally, Larry W. husband of Cynthia Fox, Kenneth W. husband of Karen Fox, A. Mary wife of Theodore Esbenshade and Brenda F. wife of Philip Hall. Also surviving are 40 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, her daughter in law; Tracey Fox and brothers; John, Christian, Samuel and Aaron Weaver.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anna Mary is preceded in death by her sons; Stanley W., David W. and Gerald W. Fox, four sisters; Susie, Sarah, Esther and Margaret, and one brother; Ivan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Hinkletown Mennonite Church, 2031 Division Highway, Ephrata PA 17522 with Pastor Glenn Sauder officiating. A Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Sunday in the church. Burial in the adjoining church cemetery.
Eckenroth Home for Funerals in Terre Hill is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
