Anna M. Witman

Anna M. (Diem) Witman, 84, of Blue Ball, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. She was the loving wife of Aldus L. “Sonny” Witman, with whom she shared over 57 years of marriage, and who preceded her in death in 2008.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Mabel (Houck) Diem.

Anna was a homemaker who in her spare time enjoyed shopping on QVC, visiting casinos, gardening, and word searches and puzzles.

Surviving are two sons: Ronald L. Witman, husband of Sherry (Whitzel), of Narvon, and Rodney A. Witman, significant other of Alice Ralston, of Lititz; 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her beloved pugs, Tiny and Snuggles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 4 brothers, and her son, Randy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 AM at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland PA 17557. Interment will follow at Ranck’s U. M. Cemetery, New Holland. Viewing will be held on Monday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
