Anna B. Zimmerman

Anna B. Zimmerman, 92, of 602 Gristmill Rd., Ephrata passed away at her home on Friday, Sept. 7. She was the wife of the late Enos M. Zimmerman who died in April 1975.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Burkholder) Hoover.

She was a homemaker and a member of Martindale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving are five daughters and four sons: Ada Zimmerman, Shiloh, OH; Frances wife of Joseph Weaver, Denver; Mabel wife of Eli Zimmerman, Greenwich, OH; Anna and Florence Zimmerman, Ephrata; Joseph husband of Martha (Horning) Zimmerman, Shiloh, OH; Irvin husband of Loretta (Hoover) Zimmerman, Shiloh, OH; Elvin husband of Marie (Martin) Zimmerman, Greenwich, OH; Enos husband of Wilma (Nolt) Zimmerman, Ephrata; 34 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; and two sister: Mary wife of Eli Martin, New Holland and Katie wife of John Martin, KY.

She was preceded in death by a son, Titus Zimmerman; 5 grandchildren; a brother Adam Hoover and a sister Maggie Nolt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 9 a.m. at her late home with further services at 9:30 a.m. at Martindale Mennonite Church with Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at her late home on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
