Annabelle Weaver, 88, formerly of Blue Ball, died Friday, November 14, 2014, at Ephrata Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron B. “Barney” Weaver in 2001.
Born in Goodville, she was the daughter of the late John and Rebecca (Horst) Stauffer. She was a member of St. John Center Lutheran Church.
A homemaker, she was a member of Blue Ball Lioness Club and the former Samuel Fear Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Blue Ball Ladies Auxiliary, and the Blue Ball Sunshine Club. She enjoyed bowling, the Phillies, playing cards and games and eating at SquireSide Café and Town Hall Restaurant.
Surviving are her sons, Thomas A., married to Cheryl (Eberly) Weaver of Blue Ball, J. William, married to Sharon (Means) Weaver of Narvon, and Jack S., married to Tammy (Brenner) Weaver of New Holland; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters Lucille Weaver of New Holland, Luella Martin of Ronks, and a brother John W. Stauffer.
The family would like to thank the Ephrata Manor first floor nursing staff and the nurse practitioners for Heart Care at Ephrata Community Hospital for their kind and attentive care of Annabelle.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at St. John Center Lutheran Church, 599 Reading Road, East Earl, PA 17519 with Rev. Sandra Gideon officiating. Interment will be in the Center Union Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church from 9 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
