Arlene A. Ressler

Arlene A. Ressler, 91, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Garden Spot Village. Her husband, Norman W. Ressler, preceded her in death in 2002.

Born April 4, 1926 in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (McEvans) Myers.

Arlene worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses in the area.

She was a member of the Community Church at Garden Spot Village. She had also formerly been a Lioness, bowled at Blue Ball Lanes, and enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving are two children, Eric D. married to Janice (McMonigal) Ressler, Birdsboro and Joan R. married to Charles Patterson, York; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Edith Veith, Mildred Singer, and Theda Groff.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Garden Towers, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park. A Viewing will be held at the Garden Towers on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
