Arlo David Forte

Arlo David Forte, 6 months of age, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of David J. and Summer J. Bostdorf Forte. Arlo was born with a very rare genetic condition that made it difficult for his body to function like a healthy baby. He did not present anything abnormal in utero so his struggles were a huge shock and they progressed as he aged. Arlo had 3 surgical procedures before he turned 2 months. He spent 4 months in the nicu and fought through difficulty after difficulty. The greatest miracle was for him to be home with his loved ones. The Forte family has so much admiration for Arlo and the battle he has fought. His chapter has ended here on earth and he is held by Jesus in heaven.

Surviving besides his parents is a sister, Naomi Forte; paternal grandparents, Joe and Dawn Lapp Forte of Lancaster; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Deborah Hill Bostdorf of Millersburg; paternal great grandparents, Alvin and Jean Lapp of Lancaster, and Patricia Forte of Lancaster; maternal great grandmothers, Betty Hill of New York, and Nancy McNeilly of Mount Joy. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at Mission Church, 651 Lampeter Road, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed at mission-church.com
