Arthur W. Aber, 70, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025. Arthur was born in Easton, PA, to his late parents, Charles and Barbara Ann (Brensinger) Aber. He was married to Kimberly A. (Womer) Aber, who survives at home.
Arthur was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for 13 years as a Corpsman with the Marines. After his service, he worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his dogs, cats and birds. He was a member of American Legion Post #537 in Morgantown, PA.
In addition to his spouse, Arthur is survived by his children, Margaret (Peg) Trexler and her husband Richard, of Spring Twp., PA, Scott W. Aber, of Nazareth, PA, Stephen E. Aber, of Muscatine, IA, Kenneth G. Aber, of Churdan, IA, William A. Aber, of Churdan, IA, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Caroline Morris and Jackie (Morris) Rose.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his siblings, Karen Baker, Michael Brose, and Nicholas Setzer.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to: American Legion Post #537, 4499 North Twin Valley Road, Morgantown, PA 19543.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Groff-High-Eckenroth Funeral Home, New Holland.
