Arthur F. Moeller

Arthur F. Moeller, Jr., 88, of New Holland, formerly of Churchtown, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Garden Spot Village, New Holland.

Born in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Arthur F. and Edith (Bundren) Moeller. He would have been married 65 years on July 16 to Nancy T. (Towler) Moeller.

Arthur was a graduate of Jefferson High School and from Texas A&M with an Engineering degree. He retired in 1988, after 23 years, as an Engineer with Ford New Holland (now CNH) in New Holland, PA.

He was a member of Our Savior Anglican Church in Lancaster, the Professional Engineers in Pennsylvania and Texas, and the Local Assn. of PA Engineers. He also served on the Planning Commission of Caernarvon Twp., and enjoyed woodworking and horses. During WWII he served with the US Navy.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Maurine M., married to Gary P. Van Dyke of Churchtown; a son, Arthur F., III, married to Lisa (Robertshaw) Moeller of New Florence; four grandchildren, Arthur F. Moeller, IV, Sarah Van Dyke, Douglas Moeller, and Nicholas Van Dyke; and a sister, Gloria Bielstein of San Antonio, TX.

A graveside service will take place at a later date at the Mission South Burial Park in San Antonio, TX.
