Arthur L. Witwer

Arthur L. Witwer, 61, of Narvon, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

Born in Ephrata he was the son of Charles Witwer of Shillington and the late Betty J. (Sprecher) Witwer. He was married 39 years on Oct. 6 to Teresa (Smith) Witwer.

Arthur retired in 2011 from Sunoco in Sinking Spring as a Pipe Maintenance Supervisor.

He was a member of the Manor Golf Course and he was a Phillies and Eagles fan. He also enjoyed being with his grandkids.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two sons, Eric Witwer of Narvon, and Ryan, married to Allison (Steffy) Witwer of Ephrata; three grandchildren, Madalyn, Nathan, and Layla; and a sister, Dianne, married to Lee Beyer of Narvon.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 3 pm at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Rick Weaver officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-3 pm.
