Astrid U. Ernst

Astrid U. Ernst, 84, of New Holland, formerly of Bernardsville, NJ, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Garden Spot Village.

Born in Wyomissing, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Lina (Conrad) Ernst.

Astrid worked most of her life as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Bernardsville Nursing Home in Bernardsville, NJ, retiring in 1996.

She attended the Monterey Bible Chapel in Leola and she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving is a sister-in-law, Doris H. Ernst of Malvern; and seven nieces.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, Eugene and Christopher Ernst.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 8 at 3 pm at Garden Spot Village Chapel with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery.
