Barton W. Messner

Barton W. Messner, 86, of East Earl, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Keystone Villa in Douglasville.

Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Ralph Messner and Odres Lambert Messner Fox.

Barton had worked at Harting Bakery for 13 years and then retired from Conestoga Wood Products after 30 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods. He was a member of Mt. Culmen E.C. Church for 75 years.

Surviving is a sister, Edna I. Binner of Lititz. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul A. “Pete” Messner.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 24, at 11:15 A.M. at Center Union Cemetery, Corner of Reading Road and Center Church Road, East Earl, PA. A Viewing will be held at the Eckenroth Funeral Home, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, on Friday, from 10:00 t0 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barton’s memory may be made to the Mt.
