Bazirake Kanyamchenge

Bazirake Kanyamchenge, 69, of New Holland, formerly of Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, passed away on March 30, 2023 in his home.

Born in Bunagana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, he was the son of the late Senturu Cosma and Ntabwirukiro Esteri.

Bazirake was the loving husband of Leonia Nyirasinumvayo, with whom he married on July 4, 1977 and shared forty six years of marriage. He attended Petra Church and was employed as a food inspector for Tyson Foods. When he resided in Uganda, he was a farmer. He enjoyed listening and keeping up to date on world news. He will be best remembered as being a wonderful husband and mentor to his children.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, twenty-four grandchildren, one great grandchild and five siblings.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two children and two siblings.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland PA 17557. There will be a viewing held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Burial will be held in Petra Memorial Park.
