Benjamin Fisher Kauffman, 77, of New Holland, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on November 13, 2025, after a brief illness. He was born on April 22, 1948 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Isaac S. and Emma (Fisher) Kauffman.
He was a talented woodworker whose skill and creativity showed in everything he built. In his retirement years, he spent many happy hours in his home shop crafting wood pieces and sharing ideas with fellow members of the Lancaster Chapter of the American Association of Woodturners. Earlier in life, he founded Kauffman Kitchens, a business he owned and operated until his retirement. He also roasted coffee for New Holland Coffee Company for many years and continued there faithfully until his passing. He was a familiar face and a friend to many at the coffee shop, where he will be deeply missed. He had a love for fishing, traveling with his wife in their RV, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Sara (Raber); their four children, Matthew (Andrea) Kauffman, New Holland, PA, Aimee (Merle) Weaver, Cochranville, PA, Kyle (Heather) Kauffman, Narvon, PA, Sara (Joel) Bare, Bird-In-Hand, PA; and 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Katie (Amos) Zook, Ronks, PA, Fannie (Levi) Stoltzfus, New Holland, PA, Sarah (Christian) Glick, Ronks, PA, Melvin (Kate) Kauffman, Gordonville, PA, Leah Fisher, Lancaster, PA, and Isaac (Lorraine) Kauffman, Portland, OR. He is preceded in death by his brother Christian Kauffman.
