Bernice O. Hunsicker

Bernice O. Hunsicker, 90, formerly of New Holland, died Monday, July 6, 2015 at Ephrata Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan R. Hunsicker in 2000.

Born in Terre Hill, she was the daughter of the late R. Edwin and Stella (Wolf) Good.

She was employed by New Holland Machine Company, now CNH, and then St. Stephen United Church of Christ, now St. Stephen Reformed Church in secretarial positions.

She was a member of St. Stephen Reformed Church and had been a 4-H leader for many years. She was also an accomplished seamstress.

Surviving are four children: Dennis A. married to Shirley (Sweat) Hunsicker, Jacksonville, FL, Jeffrey A. married to Katherine (Moon) Hunsicker, Tiburon, CA, Jan E. married to Thomas Bridges, Hendersonville, NC, and Richard A. married to Macquelyn (LeBar) Hunsicker, Ephrata, two grandchildren, a sister Hilda Reichenbach, Harrisburg and a brother Kenneth Good, Lancaster.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Marvin Good, Arthur Good, Rufus Good, and Kathryn Weaver.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Reformed Church, 249 E. Main St., New Holland with Rev. Dr. Timothy Witmer officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.. Kindly omit flowers.
