Bertha F. Schroll

Bertha Frysinger “Bert” Schroll, 94, formerly of New Holland, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Brethren Village. Her husband of 63 years, Roy C. Schroll, Jr., survives.


Born in Conoy Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ellen Frysinger.


Prior to marriage, she was employed by the Hamilton Watch Company. In addition to her housewife responsibilities, she was involved with various volunteer work including the Lancaster Meals on Wheels program.


Bert is a member of the New Holland United Methodist Church.


She was preceded in death by her son, R. Craig Schroll and 11 brothers and sisters.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the New Holland United Methodist Church at 120 West Main Street, New Holland, PA. Please join us for lunch after the service. It will be held at Brethren Village in the Wolfe Auditorium, 9 Conestoga Dr., Lititz, PA at 12:30 p.m. (It is the building with the flag pole in front and a clock on the roof). If you cannot make the service, you are invited to the lunch if that is better for your schedule.



Please omit flowers. If desired, memorials may be sent to the Good Samaritan Fund at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
