Betty Jane Adams

Betty Jane Adams, 67, of Peach Bottom, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Mt. Joy.

Born in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Richard G. and Ardeth (French) Haddon.

She attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed her yearly trip to the beach. She also enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren, going out to eat, and watching “Investigation Discovery”.

Surviving is a daughter, Lynn Adams Sexton of Peach Bottom; three grandchildren, Carly Sexton of Philadelphia, Blake and Gavin Hodgden both of Peach Bottom; a sister, Ruthann, married to William Johnson of Quarryville; three brothers, Russell Haddon of Quarryville, Robert Haddon of Drumore, and Richard, married to Barb Haddon of Quarryville; two nieces; and two nephews.

Preceding her in death is a great granddaughter, Ryan Glanzmann.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 11:30 am at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 310 Pilottown Rd, Peach Bottom with visitation from 10-11:30 am.
