Betty L. Groff

Betty L. Groff, 92, formerly of Terre Hill, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. Her husband, Alvin J. Groff, preceded her in death in 2007.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Catherine (Dommel) Constein.

Betty was a seamstress, working in various area garment factories.

She was a member of St. John’s Center United Church of Christ.

Surviving are four children: Cheryl Ritter, New Holland, Sandy Spence, Reinholds, Tina Phillips, Bobby Truitt, New Holland, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a stepsister Iva Jane Campbell.

She was preceded in death by two sons Dale Groff and Darryl Showalter.
