Betty W. Law

Betty Weaver Law, 58, of 436 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville after a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer. Her husband, Greg survives.

They celebrated 10 years of marriage this past September.


Born in Fivepointvillle, she was the daughter of C. Irvin and E. Ruth

(Hurst) Weaver of Fivepointvillle.



Betty worked part-time in the family business, Weaver's Store, Inc. and for Visiting Angels.


She was a member of Frederick Mennonite Church. She will be remembered as a woman who loved her family, helping them in any way she could. She encouraged many others by praying with them and challenging them to live for Jesus.


Betty served others in many ways over years, including teaching Sunday School, cooking at Camp Andrews, teaching school in GA and working at Faith Mission Home in VA.


In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by seven siblings:

Janet married to Lowell Sensenig, Adamstown; Mel married to Jeanette, Mohnton; Irvin, Jr. married to Karen, Fivepointvillle; Ruth Ann widow of Daniel Wile, Fivepointville; Ray married to Marilyn, Gouglersville; Doris married to Glenn Wile, Linville, VA and Nelson married to Melanie, Denver.


Her funeral will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Rd., Ephrata with Grant Price and Ben Stoltzfus officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 - 2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Camp Andrews, 1226 Silver Spring Rd., Holtwood, PA 17532 or Faith Mission Home, 3540 Mission Home Lane, Free Union, VA 22940.
