Betty Lois Miller, 84, of Landisville, PA went to be with Jesus on July 29, 2024, while visiting her son in Warsaw, IN.
Born in Manheim, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Alma L. (Groff) Keener.
She was the wife of the late Lester E. Miller, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage until the time of his passing in December 2001 and was the wife of Lester Y. Miller, with whom she shared almost 10 years of marriage.
Betty loved the Lord, was a woman of prayer, and it was her deepest desire that everyone would know Jesus and we would all be together in Heaven. Betty loved to give and serve all of those around her. She loved to spend time with her family and pray for each of them by name. Sending cards to each of the family members was something that brought her joy. She was a member of Crossway Mennonite Fellowship and was a homemaker.
Betty is survived by her husband, her children, Wendell (Diane) Miller, Crystal (Philip) Moyer, Starla (Mark) Schlabach and Keith (Regina) Miller, 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Also surviving are stepchildren, Conrad (Linda) Miller, Karen (Marlin) Eicher and Leanna (Joseph) Hershberger, 10 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, brother, J. Clyde (Vera) Keener and brother-in-law, Nevin Kraybill.
In addition to her first husband and parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Barbara Ann Kraybill and stepson, Daniel Miller.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Willow Street Mennonite, 399 E Penn Grant Road, Willow Street PA 17584. A Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the church. Burial will be held in River Corner Mennonite Church following the service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kompass Ministries, 112 Woodcrest Drive, Lancaster PA 17602.
Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
