Betty A. Longaker

Betty A. Longaker, 83, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, formerly of Berwyn, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Garden Spot Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. Lewis Longaker in 1998.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Killian) Rice.

Betty was an elementary school secretary at Devon Elementary School in Tredyffrin Easttown School District. She retired in 1980 after 15 years.

She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.

Surviving are two sons: John B. married to Ruth Longaker, Castleton, VT and William L. Longaker, Pottstown; a grandson Michael Longaker and a sister Dorothy married to Gordon Spiller, Broomall.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6 at 12 Noon at Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Rd. New Holland with Pastor Doug Bozung officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 11:30 until the time of service. Interment will be private in Limerick Garden of Memories.
