Betty Lou Eberly

Betty Lou (Horning) Eberly, 70, of Oley, passed away on October 21, 2025 in her residence.

Born in Denver, she was the daughter of the late Irvin W. and Grace (Weber) Horning.

She was the wife of Kenneth B. Eberly, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

She was a member of The Forge Church in Mohnton. Ken served as the pastor for 20 years at Hampden Mennonite Church and Betty helped him throughout those years in the various parts of the ministry. Betty and Ken loved to hike together and would often travel to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Betty loved her grandchildren and would visit and check on them as often as she could.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Chad husband of Kristine (Fritz) Eberly, Kordel husband of Amanda (Tarntino) Eberly, Kyle husband of Rebecca (Meed) Eberly, Krystal wife of Deane Weaver and Kendra wife of Paulus Sutrisna, 24 grandchildren, one grandson on the way and her siblings, Lucy wife of John Nolt, Ruth Ann wife of Ron Robenolt, Lois wife of Daniel Good, David husband of Janice (Weaver) Horning, Sharon widow of David Cody, Eileen widow of Mark Weaver and Ronald husband of Karen (Esbenshade) Horning.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland PA 17557. There will be a time of visitation after the service.

A private interment will be held in Bowmansville Mennonite Cemetery, East Earl PA.
