Betty J. Stoltzfus

Betty J. (Tyson) Stoltzfus went to meet the Lord on Thursday, August 22,2024 at UPMC Lititz.

She was the wife of Norman J. Stoltzfus, with whom she shared almost 69 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry S. and Eva B. (Burkholder) Tyson.

Betty worked for Atlantic Breeders Cooperative, as a telephone operator. She attended Grace Community Church Willow Street. At church, she was involved with Hearts and Hands Ministry. She also helped make bandages for Good Samaritan Purse.

Surviving, in addition to her husband are three children, N. Douglas, Lancaster, Brenda Dee (Peter Chow), Columbia and Lamar E. (Janice Eberly) of Nairobi, Kenya, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Betty is also survived by a sister, Ruth T. Martin, Lancaster.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Calvary Homes Fellowship Hall, 502 Elizabeth Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM. A time of visitation will follow the service.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Eby Cemetery.
