Betty A. Witwer

Betty A. Witwer, 86, of Lancaster, formerly of Ephrata, died Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Born in Reinholds, she was a daughter of Ralph H. and Ida M. (Kepple) Ochs. Her husband, Paul D. Witwer, Sr., died Dec. 18, 2018.

Betty had worked at the F&M Hat Company in Denver for several years.

She enjoyed playing BINGO, playing baseball and cooking.

Surviving are two sons, Paul D., Jr. husband of Maria Witwer of Lancaster, and James M. Witwer, Sr., of Ephrata; two daughters, Shirley A. Ludwig of Ephrata, and Sarah J. Musser of Blue Ball; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, a son-in-law Galen R. Musser; a daughter-in-law Bonnie Witwer; and a sister, Anna Mae Ochs

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 1, at 10:00 A.M. at the Eckenroth Funeral Home, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, PA with the Rev. Eugene Weaver officiating.
