Beulah J. Shirk

Beulah J. Shirk, 67, of 415 Linden St., Terre Hill, died Thursday, May 10 at Hospice of Lancaster County.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Kathryn (Wenger) Shirk.

Beulah spent many years in the banking industry, retiring from M & T Bank, New Holland.

She was a member of Trinity E. C. Church, Terre Hill where she served as church treasurer for many years, was the Sunday School director and choir member. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, and cooking.

Surviving are five siblings: Charles married to Pearl Shirk, Ephrata; Dorothy married to Andrew Martin, Reinholds; Willis Shirk, New Holland; LaReta Sandoe, New Holland; and Miriam married to Larry Brendle, Terre Hill.

She was preceded in death by five siblings: Alberta Gehman, Helen Good, Luke Shirk, Pearl Martin, and Carroll Shirk.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 10 AM at Trinity E. C. Church with Pastor Al Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Terre Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St.,. Terre Hill on Friday (TONIGHT) from 6 to 8 PM and at the church on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM. Kindly omit flowers.
