Bonnie M. Hoffert

Bonnie M. Hoffert, 75, of 210 Wecaf Rd., New Holland, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care. Her loving husband, Carl A. Hoffert, preceded her in death in 1999.

Born in Caretta, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Ada Hicks.

Bonnie worked for many years at the former SLC Fashions, Blue Ball and later at Martin’s Chair Shop and Town Hall Restaurant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always willing to put others before herself.

Surviving are three children: Theresa Grube, Donald C. Hoffert and Randy L. Hoffert, both of New Holland, 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Maci.

She was the last of her siblings.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with Pastor Ken Mingledorff officiating. Interment will be in Center Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Groff-High on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice & Community Care, P. O.
