Brenda A. Flores

Brenda A. Flores, 49, of 5241 Old Strasburg Road, Kinzers, died Saturday, October 15, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Henry K. Wismer of New Holland, and the late Joyce Ann (Reeser) Wismer. She celebrated 27 years of marriage on Sept 15 to Jimmy R. Flores. Prior to her illness Brenda was employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred Intl Inc. She was a member of Summit View Brethren in Christ Church. Surviving in addition to her husband and father is a daughter, Nicole Flores at home; and a brother, Steven, married to Shannon (Allison) Wismer of New Holland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 2 pm at Summit View Brethren in Christ Church, 846 Peters Road, New Holland with the Reverend Nate Dippner officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Monument Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 1-2 pm.
