Brenda Lee Nixon

Brenda Lee (Axe) Nixon, 51, of 16 Hannah Lee Rd., Barnegat, NJ died Wednesday at her home. Her husband, J. Matthew Nixon survives. They celebrated 30 years of marriage on June 25th.

Born in Honey Brook, she was the daughter of James S. and Frances E. (Romig) Axe of Fivepointville.

She was a homemaker who loved the beach and outdoor activities such as landscaping and gardening.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two sons: Dylan married to Tonya Nixon, Quarryville and Jonathan married to Emily Nixon, Elizabethtown, seven grandchildren, a sister Linda married to George Dippner, New Holland and a brother James D. Axe of Mt. Joy.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 31 at 1 p.m. at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 810 Newport Ave., Gap with Pastor William Davies officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
