Brenda K. Tackett

Brenda K. Tackett, 62, of 469 C Linden Rd., East Earl, died Thursday, May 3 at Hospice of Lancaster County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Tackett in 2004.

Born in Floyd Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Vada (Fields) Caudill.

She was a homemaker and a member of Conestoga Valley Church of Christ where she spent many hours volunteering and attending church activities.

Surviving are two daughters: Deanna S. Parmer, Ephrata and Lori K married to Gerard Sulo, Newark, DE; five grandchildren: Christopher Sulo (Tasha), Nicholas Sulo (Tara), Brittany Merklinger (Mike), Jeremy Parmer, Chelsea Parmer; five great-grandchildren; eight siblings: Willis Eugene Caudill (Jane), Wildwood, FL; James E. Caudill (Mima Jean), Sidney, OH; Bill Caudill (Shelbia), Oldsmar, FL; Arnold Caudill (Sheila), Marion, IN; Donald Caudill (Toni), Warsaw, IN; Paul Caudill (Linda Sue), New Holland; Fred Caudill, Jr., (Dru), Crescent City, FL; Linda Rash (Herb),Wildwood, FL; a very special family friend Kim Weidman and family as well as many special nieces, nephews, and fellow church members.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Caudill.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 7 at Noon at Conestoga Valley Church of Christ, 2045 Horseshoe Rd., Lancaster with Pastors Jeff Werkheiser and Carl Carpenter officiating. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday from 10 AM until Noon. Interment will be in New Danville Mennonite Cemetery.
