Carl B. Weaver, 82, of Ephrata, died Monday, December 22, 2025, at his home. His wife of 59 years, Erla G. (Hurst) Weaver, survives.
Born in West Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Melvin F. and Edwina (Bowers) Weaver.
Carl was a farmer for 33 years and then was a truck driver for Eagle Rental for 14 years.
He was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Judy married to John Burkholder, Denver, Janelle married to Irvin Zimmerman, Ephrata, Joy married to Charles Burkholder, New Holland, C. Tyler married to Jennifer (Martin) Weaver, Kenhorst, Jerrita married to Glenn Weaver, Lititz, 24 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, two sisters, Ella Hurst, Ephrata and Pauline Sensenig, Nottingham and a brother-in-law, Earl Ray Sensenig, Hinkletown.
He was preceded in death by a great grandson, Hank Hoover, two sisters, Mary Sensenig and Marian Musser, and an infant brother, Martin Leon Weaver.
His funeral will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Groffdale Mennonite Church with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman, Richard Burkholder, Edwin Reiff, and Roy Sensenig officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fairmount Homes Farm Crest Chapel. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
