Carol Mae Lamb

Carol Mae Lamb, 90, a resident of Garden Spot Village, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Edward E. Lamb, Jr. who passed in 1990. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Augusta “Marie” Larson Cornelius.

She had attended Susquehanna University, had graduated from Eastern University in 1988 with a degree in Social Work. Carol was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in New Holland and a former member of the Marple Presbyterian Church in Broomall. She was involved in the Village Voices and Women’s Bible Study and many Volunteer activities at Garden Spot during her 26 years of living there.

Surviving are two sons, Robert C. Lamb of York, and Kenneth E. Lamb partner of Sandy Otton of Coatesville; a daughter, Nancy J. wife of William Klock of Downingtown; and three grandchildren, Ryan husband of Ali Klock, Matthew Klock and Alyssa Klock. She will also be missed by her good friend Ed Rule.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, at 11:00 A.M. at The Chapel at Garden Spot Village, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA with Chaplain Chester Yoder officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
