Catherine A. Singletary

Catherine A. Singletary, of New Holland, PA, died on October 20, 2026, at the age of 88 years. She resided in East Earl for the majority of her time on this earth where she had wonderful neighbors, especially Faye Woods and Florence Platt. Cathy was born April 12, 1938, in Joliet, IL. Cathy enjoyed crafting, traveling and spending time with her family. Her family meant the world to her, and she spent her life nurturing them. She was a member and Catechist at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and worked at the sales barn in New Holland.

Cathy’s life will continue on in the hearts of her loving children: Jeffrey Singletary (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL and Sherie Singletary of Jacksonville, FL and Suzanne Heinbach-Potteiger (Jim Potteiger) of New Holland, PA and Anne Chadwell-Slutz (David Slutz) of Morristown, TN. She is survived by her brother-in-law Buckley Singletary (Judith Vogrin), 11 loving grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild with many extended family members in IL.

She was pre-deceased in death by her husband, Donald L. Singletary, parents, John Lee Bortoli (Sophia Sargenti), sisters Rose LaPaso (James), Geraldine Koelling (Vic) and Grandson, Dario Datis.

A private family burial is planned.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church, Samaritan’s Purse or Compassion International.
