Catherine M. Weeks

Catherine M Weeks passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 31 at age 87.

Catherine was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert. She is survived by her three children, sons Robert Jr., James (Ann) and daughter Maryanne. Catherine is also survived by her sister-in-law, Claire, her brother-in-law Tom and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was an only child, but she fondly recalled many lifetime memories with her McMullen family cousins.

Catherine was born in Scranton, PA but spent most of her youth in Drexel Hill, PA. She graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1955 and her post high school career included stints in bookkeeping, office management and parish secretary for two diocese church communities, a role that she cherished immensely given her strong catholic faith.

Catherine’s true love was her husband, her children and close family members. She delighted in holiday gatherings with those close to her. An avid life-long reader, Catherine was known to be reading multiple books or working on a favorite crossword puzzle.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Aston, PA on Tuesday, November 12 at 10:30 am. All are welcome to visit with the family from 9:15 am to 10:15 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Catherine’s name to The Intercourse public library in Intercourse, PA.
