Charles B. Adams

Charles B. Adams, 89, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, died Friday, June 15 at Garden Spot Village. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcene (Wegner) Adams in 1986.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Annie (Brumbach) Adams.

Charles worked at the former Sperry New Holland as a Project Engineer from 1947-1985.

He was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ, the Professional Engineers Society of Pennsylvania and the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.

During World War II, he served in the Army Medical Corps in India.

Surviving are two children: David C. married to Mary Jo (Frasher) Adams, Marion, IA and Evelyn A. married to Timothy Conkling, Hong Kong; four grandchildren; and three siblings: Margaret Harris, Greensboro, NC, Robert B. Adams, Philadelphia, and Julia Roberts, Cleveland, OH.
