Charles C. “Curt” Blessing, Jr., 54, of 26 S. King St., Stevens, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 1 at Lancaster General Hospital. His wife, Judy (Frantz) Blessing, survives.
Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Edith (Boley) Blessing of East Earl and the late Charles C. Blessing, Sr.
Curt was employed by Krimes Industrial, Ephrata as a metal fabricator. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are four children: Charles C. Blessing III married to Amy of East Earl; Regina Haldeman married to Chris of Terre Hill; Austin Blessing and Daulton Blessing, both at home; four grandchildren and a great granddaughter; and three sisters: Sylvia Kauffman married to Gary of New Holland; Vivian Hibshman married to Rodney of East Earl; and Charlene King companion of Ronald White of Denver and two brothers: Eugene Kieffer married Joy of Narvon and Brian Stipkovits of Lancaster.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 5 from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be posted on our website, www.groffeckenroth.com.
